Saint Francis Walk Excursion from the La Foresta Sanctuary to the Saint Francis Beech Tree

Saint Francis Walk ExcursionSunday March 4th take part in the Saint Francis Walk excursion from La Foresta Sanctuary to the Saint Francis Beech Tree organized by the CAI of Rieti.
Participants are required to meet at the square of the La Foresta Sanctuary at 7:45 am (departure at 8:00 am).

- Arrival at the Saint Francis Beech Tree at around 2:30 pm;

- Arrival at Morro Reatino at around 5:00 pm and return to Rieti by Cotral bus lines from Leonessa;

The excursion is classified as easy but it is long and rather demanding.
The following equipment is required:
Comfortable hiking footwear, windbreaker or waterproof jacket/outerwear, hat and gloves, complete change of clothes.

Notes:
1) – Buy Cotral bus ticket before departure
2) – You can organize your own return transportation by car
3) – This path (length and duration) is preparatory for those who would like to take part in the upcoming excursions Poggio Bustone-Cascia (March 17 2007) and Assisi-Poggio Bustone (April 21 2007).
